Course description
Middle schoolers are navigating identity, peer approval, and shifting relationships with authority. The same behavior can mean very different things depending on who is in the room and what the task demands. This course helps grades 6–8 educators use the ABC framework to look beyond surface behavior and identify triggers, task demands, and patterns. Participants will practice distinguishing between skill gaps, motivation deficits, and social-emotional triggers — and choosing instructional adjustments that better match student needs.
