Course Description:
The Introduction to the Religious Studies Curriculum Guidelines of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Trenton provides teachers of religion with an explanation of the role of the catechist as well as a breakdown of the various sections of the document. In addition, an explanation of the organizing principles of the guidelines (the Tasks of Catechesis for the elementary levels and the Pillars of the Faith for the secondary levels) is presented. Finally, a review of the substantial collection of appendices to complement the material covered in the grade level modules is offered to the viewers of this program.
