Course description
Students may experience trauma, stress, or disruption that affects their focus, behavior, and engagement in the classroom. Teachers often notice these shifts and must make instructional decisions that support learning while maintaining clear expectations and appropriate responsiveness. In this course, participants examine how stress can appear in academic and behavioral patterns and explore classroom strategies that look beyond surface behavior. Educators will analyze classroom scenarios and develop practical approaches for creating predictable, supportive environments that help students remain engaged and ready to learn during challenging moments.
