Course Description:
The Introduction to the Social Studies Curriculum Guidelines of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Trenton provides teachers of social studies with an explanation of the role of the social studies teacher as well as a breakdown of the four strands of social studies viewed in conjunction with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Social Studies. These strands are presented throughout the various eras in the history and development of the societies of the world.
